Dakota's Legacy, LLC is a locally owed and
operated business that was established in 2004.
The owners, David and Cheyenne reside in
Southern Maryland with their daughter, 6 horses, 3
dogs, 2 cats, 2 ferrets, 1 bird and 1 goat!
Cheyenne has been riding horses and competing
for over 15 years. She started her show career on
her first horse named "Dakota" in the local arena
and quickly realized her love for this animal. After
years of competition on Dakota and numerous
awards and Championships she began to show
AQHA. Cheyenne competed on the QH circuit for years and earned many titles, points, all
arounds and championships on her QH named "Doc." In 2002, Cheyenne also competed at
the All American Quarter Horse Congress placing top 20 out of 243 competitors. Cheyenne
enjoys teaching, she adores each of her students as if they're family and loves to see them
succeed and achieve their individual goals.

David & Cheyenne are a husband and wife pet sitting team who truly enjoy animals and are
fully insured. Cheyenne grew up with an array of animals; everything from iguanas &
horses to ferrets and birds. She is a former vet tech for a top quality animal hospital and
has a lot of knowledge in the animal field. David was also raised with animals and has a
knowledge and compassion for all animals alike. As a team we understand the commitment
that goes into caring, loving and providing for our beloved fur friends and you can rest
assured that yours will be treated the same!
