As a rider I know the joy, excitement and passion that go into this
truly amazing sport. I know how it feels to climb into that saddle and
have the best ride and sometimes the worst. I know the compassion,
trust and responsibility it takes to own a horse and care for them day
in and day out. I started off riding my horse named "Dakota", a
beautiful appaloosa mare who showed me the world. She showed me
there were endless possibilities in the horse world and gave me wings so
I could fly. She was a wonderful mare, although nothing came easy,
she made me work for every ounce of ability I have today.

I was taught by great trainers, and have worked hard to get where I
am and to have the ability and passion for such an incredible animal
and sport. I rode 6 days out of 7, had several riding lessons a week,
competed monthly and it showed. I have been blessed with a God given
ability for this sport and have so much to be thankful for. I have
incredible parents who I owe so much to, they sacrificed a lot in order
to make sure I had everything I needed to be competitive in this world.
I believe anyone can ride but it takes a special person to turn it into art..
I wouldn't be where I am today and certainly would not have the opportunity to do what I
love as a career if it wasn't for them giving up so much.
